Mary Muñoz Wing

Our Mary Muñoz Wing was dedicated in the Spring of 2007 to honor the memory of Widewater Teacher, Mary Muñoz. Mary taught in Stafford County for 32 years, 19 of which were in both Fourth and Fifth Grades at WES. Mary passed on her passion for teaching to her colleagues and her love of learning to her students. In addition to the Wing dedication, we also wear the old Widewater colors--turquoise, black, and white--on November 14 each year, which we call Muñoz Day.
